I’m never interested in horror movies. I am told a couple of my choices here, were horror; but I did not find them so. I include these for the strange endings, the surprise endings, and the not so wonderful endings. Good movies.

Uma Thurman is the surviver of a horrible school shooting. The town is erecting a memorial for the students and teachers who lost their lives and were affected by it. Strange and wonderful movie.
The Last Time
Brendan Fraser, Amber Valletta and Michael Keaton in the story of a salesman who takes a midwestern partner under his wing, only to fall for his fiancee. Amazing ending.
Eagle Eye
Shia LaBeouf, Michelle Monaghan in an exciting run to save her son and him out of jail. Fast and furious.
Unbreakable
Bruce Willis is in an accident that shows him who he really is. He has to use himself for the good of others, or not. Eerie and good.
The Sixth Sense
A psychologist, Bruce Willis, is trying to help a boy who sees dead people who do not realize that they are already dead.
The Others
Nicole Kidman is convinced that her home that she shares with her children is also shared by ghosts. Suspenseful with a wicked twist.
Se7en
Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman play cat and mouse with killer Kevin Spacey, who is following the seven deadly sins. Gluttony, greed, sloth, envy, wrath, pride and lust.

A jaded Christian missionary, Hilary Swank, specializes religious phenomena and she investigates a small town suffering from the 10 Biblical plagues.
Next
Magician Nicholas Cage sees a few minutes into the future which makes him a prize for the government agencies seeking help with terrorists. Interesting ending!
