  • Lovely painting Sonia.  Lovely thought as well.  One of the reasons I like it so much here on our mountain is the quiet. The birds singing, and the tree frogs trilling and the cicadas thrumming sometimes seems like a lot of sound, but on the rare occasion we visit a city dweller for a while, we come to appreciate the different, more peaceful, “noise” of our retreat.
