Meat Phyllo
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Beef
- 1 large onion diced
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Phyllo dough
- Extra olive oil for dough
Directions:
- 1- Heat olive oil in skillet.
2- Add onion, salt and pepper and brown.
3- Set aside.
4- Brown ground beef and drain all the grease.
5- Add onions to the ground beef and let simmer for 10 minutes.
6- Brown pine nuts in skillet with left over grease in pan.
7- Add to cooking beef and turn heat off.
6- Cut leaves length wise and cover.
7- Lay single phyllo leaf down, drizzle olive oil in the middle.
8- Spoon 2 Tbsp of ground and fold sides then roll down like a log.
Fill phyllo leaves with beef till beef is done.
Bake at 350 until phyllo turns golden.
