The New Wolf Man Was Worth It, review

Yeah yeah, I know. Everyone had something terrible to say about this movie but I happen to like it. My husband accuses me of liking every movie that I watch but that is not true. I have found several I do not like that much. 🙂

 

I found Wolfman insightful and very well done. It was not your usual just turning into a werewolf type of movie. The story was given thought and the characters came to life. You could actually feel for the man who got bit and his deeds.

 

Between Anthony Hopkins and Beneicio Del Toro it was a good movie chock full of action and interaction. Yep, liked it.

 

$$$$ let’s get serious. I tried to be truthful. It was worth it.

This is Setterfield’s first book. Powerful and descriptive with emotions and stealth. An  exciting romp and relaxing at other times, at the same time. A good intrigue and suspense.

Powerful writing, powerful words in the hands of a wonderful manipulator of words. She captivated my heart with the way she writes not only what she wrote. Big cheers!

In this story a woman is asked to come and be a live in writer to a recluse author to pen her autobiography. The story that unfolds makes it an amazing mystery, fun to read and intriguing to discover.

$$$$$ one of my favorite books. I cannot wait for another one of this author.

If you want a Love Story See Juliet, Review

They say if you want to know someone travel with them. This is the story of a young writer who travels with her fiance to Italy. She finds out the truth about their relationship.

Also she gets involved in writing letters to lovers in answer to their pleas in Juliet’s name. When one such letter falls into the hands of an older woman, she comes to Italy with her loving grandson to find her lost love.

Star crossed lovers, travel and beautiful scenery make for a gorgeous movie.

Love this movie. Gave it a $$$$$ worth the money. Enjoy.

Brain Surgery Does It End Life

51rSEOHiNfLWhen I was given this book by a friend, I was not sure what to expect. Then as I opened the pages and turned one page after the other, unable to stop, I found myself riveted by the characters that are involved in the life of the heroine.

As she suffers through painful procedures, she sees life differently and perceives people even more so. She is enlightened by the harshness of people and life. Yet the kindness of others keep her faith rolling towards healing emotionally and spiritually.
A wonderful tour into the heart of pain and the agony of physical pain. An excellent read. Insightful and a journey of discovery.

I am hoping for an author interview with Pandora Poikilos in the near future. Please look for it on this blog. An up and coming wonderful writer.

If You Are Depressed Do Not Watch This, Review

61l2RSq3kbL SL500 AA300If you are depressed kindly do not watch this movie. It will make things murkier and uglier.

The story of our hero Viggo where we are introduced to him and his pregnant wife and their young son. A story of survival under horrific circumstances. The world has come to an end and there is not law but survival of the fittest. With a child to protect the two move around trying for safety.

Cannibalism, murder, horrors are all graphic in this movie. But through it all, the man teaches his son that they are the “good guys”, the people who still have heart and carry the light.

It is a good solid story but sad and heart wrenching.
