Does God pervert justice or does the Almighty pervert what is right? Proverbs 28:5 Is it not amazing that we find ourselves constantly in the dilemma of passing judgment on God’s will? The interference we commit evaluating a situation then deciding that it should never happen is arrogance of the highest order.
Mercy tempered with grace and charity will always win over judgment and blame. We have not understood the mind of God when we pass edicts blaming Him for allowing situations beyond our control. Nothing in the realm of humanity is capable of understanding the depth and width of the wisdom of God. Yet, in human mercy, we interfere without understanding.
Before misunderstanding what I am suggesting consider that charity and love are before any other law. And never ever pass on helping or deciding with mercy. But when you do, never blame God for what you are helping alleviate of pain. Our duty is to love our neighbor not judge God for what they are going through. Keep the faith and continue loving never shirking the responsibility of mercy.
Be careful of your heart. Keep it in accordance to the love of the Lord. Walk in the light of Jesus who will show you your heart’s intention when helping others. Stay in the light and prosper in His name.

Step Out In Faith
For you are our glory and our joy.
1 Thessalonians 2:20
When the Lord exhorts you to do a thing, do not waffle, do not shirk, and do not go about asking others if it is the right thing to do. Step out in faith and do it.
Nothing is more egregious to our walk than this need for constant confirmation that it is the will of God. Step out in faith. Make mistakes. Learn from your own mistakes. It is not the end of the world. If a child learning to walk stops with every step to find out if it is alright to step, he will never walk.
When you walk, fear nothing but the awe of God should fill you that His glory has covered you from head to toe. Step out in faith, with eyes wide open knowing full well that what you are about to do is crazy and impossible in the eyes of the world, then do it. Nothing worth doing was ever easy or normal. Faith is believing what we have not seen, not believing that it is safe so we do it.
Even if you are afraid, do it. Even if it will humiliate you, do it. What is the worst you can do, fail? So what? Do it again and again. Make this the day you take your life into your own hands and step out in faith wherever the Lord is leading. And His mercy and love will cover you mistakes and all, successes and failures. Nothing is worse than ending this life thinking of all the adventure in the Lord missed out on for fear of errors.
Today is the first day of your decision to make it a glorious, exciting life, living in the Lord.
William Blake on the voice of God
“The Prophets Isaiah and Ezekiel dined with me, and I asked them how they dared so roundly to assert, that God spoke to them; and whether they did not think at the time, that they would be misunderstood, & so be the cause of imposition.
Isaiah answer’d, I saw no God, nor heard any, in a finite organical perception; but my senses discover’d the infinite in every thing, and as I was then persuaded, & remain confirm’d; that the voice of honest indignation is the voice of God, I cared not for consequences but wrote.”
— William Blake (The Marriage of Heaven and Hell: A Facsimile in Full Color)
When someone tells me that they have heard God telling them to do this or that, my logic board kicks into gear. But, more importantly my discernment honed and sharpened over the years of worship and prayer sticks its head out and gently whispers in my heart.
Never do I discount the person who tells me that they have heard God. But, if it is truly God, then the results will be honorable and holy. If Ezekiel and Isaiah screamed in the deserts and nothing happened of what they proclaimed, then they were frauds. But, truth will come and set you free.
If someone claims that they have heard God for me, on my account, then I listen even closer. I take it with a respectful thank you and appreciate it, yet in the dark of my closet, between me and my Maker, I lay it before Him. I need to know if that is truly for me or not. Also, if it is Him or not. The Holy Spirit will let me know the truth or the fantasy of it.
Results are not instant. But, time will tell and those who offer God’s word so freely should beware of using His name to do Satan’s bidding.
When God directs, it is a shame to ask others what they think. When it burns in your heart, speak it out. Like Isaiah and Ezekiel of old who were not running for office and did not care if they were popular or not.
Spiritual Water Satisfies Needs
Water is life giving! And today is World Water Day. Water is nourishing, sustaining our survival and keeping us from thirst. A person can last a long time without food but water is essential and necessary all the time.
When the Samaritan Woman argued with Jesus that He had nothing to draw water with, He responded to her by offering Himself. Living Water was what He offered that poor woman. He offered her the satisfaction of her soul. Knowing her life story, knowing her pitfalls and her sordid existence, He offered her life giving flowing abundance from Himself. Courtesy Takes Toll On Patience
National Courtesy Day was designated for everyone to be kind and considerate to one another. Webster’s states that courtesy means: ‘the showing of politeness in one’s attitude and behavior towards others’.
Let us take this one step further today. Instead of just being civil and gallant, let’s just step it up a notch, deciding to treat others just the way we would like to be treated. –
